This unbelievable wedding at the Antrim 1844 was a day I have been looking forward to for a long time. When I spoke with Vanessa through emails and then on the phone I just fell in love with her. She was sweet, and she had this smitten tone in her voice when she talked about Marc. Being born and raised in Brazil, Vanessa never thought she would fall in love with an American boy she met on a dating app. She was randomly in Baltimore visiting a friend when Marc found her image in a location search on the app. That was all she wrote as the saying goes. He met her, He found out that she did NOT live in Baltimore, that she actually lived in Virginia and he quickly knew one thing. He’d go to Virginia to take her out on a date if he had too. And so he did.
This day was just perfect. Vanessa’s sister flew in from Canada, her parents and family and friends flew in from Brazil. It was a room FILLED with the beautiful language of Portuguese when I arrived. Hairspray filled the room downstairs in the main house. Girls laughter leaked up the staircase. The weather was perfection. Sunshine and blue skies made Vanessa’s walk down the aisle at the Antrim the day Marc will never forget. The girls wore blush gowns from Azazie while the guys work tuxes from The Black Tux while Marc had a custom suit made by professional clothier Taylor Wood for Tom James Company. Vanessa KILLED it in a Essence of Australia off the shoulder gown. Her hair down with the most gorgeous veil! It was magical! The night went on at The Antrim wouldn’t be right if the DJ didn’t have hand picked Brazillian music that kept the dance floor filled with Vanessa and her friends!
