Sunrise down by the harbor in Annapolis is a beautiful way to start your day. The sun rises off the water coming from the Naval Academy and for one small moment in time, you have that entire waterfront area to yourself. That’s where Andrea and Gorden and I found ourselves last week! Referrals are the way to my heart. That I will tell you. A dear fellow photographer MJ who specializes in studio newborn photographer got a call from Gorden, her long time friend several months ago. He asked if she might want to shoot their DC wedding. Like babies, I love to photograph them for Lifestyle newborns, but posing them in all those foldable ways is for the newborn photographers. Like Weddings are coveted for us me. MJ declined the wedding saying she knew of ONE person that she would send them to, that would if available would knock it out of the park….. Enter MY NAME. WHOA!!!! What a compliment!!!
When Andrea reached out to me, I felt like we had immediately connected. There was a sense of trust there immediately between her and I. I knew she wanted a very classic, old hollywood vibe and she knew that I was her girl. We got off the phone and started the contract process just a couple months short of their wedding. We had so much fun at their Annapolis engagement session, I can ONLY imagine what their wedding day will be like at The Capitol View at 400 in just a couple of weeks!
