This Orange, Virginia wedding is one that I’ve waited for! I first met Meghan and Curt at a previous wedding I shot. Two of my fvorites, Lynn and Kevin in Wintergreen, Virginia. It was cold and rainy yet perfect on their day, and I remember Meghan sitting on top of that mountain with the rest of the bridesmaids FREEZING as I yelled, “THINK MEXICO, THINK WARM BEACHES!” She was SUCH a trooper!! So nevertheless, when I got her inquiry I was SO excited. One of the BIGGEST compliments I can ever get is when a bridesmaid of one wedding, get’s to experience what it’s like with me as the wedding photographer and want me as their own when it’s their time!!! Meghan and I were so excited for her Orange, Virginia wedding. They loved the area, and Meghan wanted it to be perfectly her and Curt. We texted throughout the process, pictures of wedding dresses, and then finally THE ONE. Everything was coming together for her wedding at Greenock Manor.
Greenock provides so many accent DIY items for your day Chanel is wonderful! Meghan decided to get married out on the property but keep the reception on the covered patio and keep it intimate. The dance floor was open under the stars with string lights aluminizing the night as it went on even after I left. Their friends literally danced the late afternoon away. They had so much fun! I’m pretty sure the bridesmaids controlled the dance floor. Orange, Virginia never ever fails me for the good parties! I love shooting weddings out there and I can’t wait to go back!
