The Estate at Independence is a classic event venue and a premier public golf course located right outside the heart of Richmond, VA in Midlothian Virginia. It’s the perfect place for the estate loving couple!!! Kayla and Jacob chose the Estate at Independence for it’s classic chic look to match their blush, ivory and gold theme! Kayla’s choice of Kate Spade Glitter Keds was a perfect node to her fun, young spirit and I’ll be honest, probably the most comfortable wedding shoes EVER!!!!!! Her AMAZING Casablanca Gown that literally was the perfect fit and the most gorgeous gown EVER and her florist chose the perfect pink, ivory and white flowers for her to hold as she walked down the aisle at Bon Air Baptist Church to promise forever to Jacob!!!!
These two high school sweethearts have been together since they were 15!!!! Budding photographers themselves, photography was soooo incredibly important to them. I remember when Kayla and I spoke, she told me how much Jacob needed to love me as well. It was a joint decision. They were already thinking like a TEAM. Kayla quickly messaged me after we spoke and Jacob and her were in! We had the best engagement session in D.C. together and I can’t believe that it’s all over. The best thing about being present for all these weddings is honestly getting to witness all the love their family has for them. How much they believe in them. Their families prayed over them and reminded themselves that they needed to keep God in front at all times. Their best man and matron of honor talked about how amazing Kayla and Jacob were. How they were good, trustworthy, loving and simply made each other better. Jacob’s dad found important verses from the bible to read them and talked about how much marriage meant and how proud he was of both of them. It was a beautiful day and I just couldn’t be happier to have been there!!!
